Dr. Desai is President and CEO of Optum Pacific Northwest, overseeing Optum’s care delivery organizations throughout Washington, Oregon, and California. Collectively, these organizations are comprised of more than 20,000 physicians and serve nearly 2.5 million patients. Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Adam Bednar supports the financial planning and analysis for Optum Care Network (OCN). Adam joined OCN from Optum Colorado, where he served as vice president of finance. He has a strong background in medical economics and experience in Medicare and commercial risk contracts as well as provider network planning. Adam has a bachelor’s degree in economics from American University and a master’s degree in economics from George Washington University.
Executive Vice President, Optum Pacific Northwest
Dr. Coffman is responsible for the regional Management Services Organization, focusing on growth, value, and regional operations. He partners closely with The Everett Clinic, The Polyclinic and the new Optum Care Network, playing a key role in the planning and operations throughout the Pacific Northwest. His experience and expertise in the health care industry is helping expand Optum’s presence in the region through planned growth, business development, and the transformation of care delivery.
Western Washington Group President
Lloyd David is the Western Washington Group President for Optum, with leadership responsibility for both The Everett Clinic and The Polyclinic. David is committed to physician leadership, quality care and the best possible patient experience at these organizations. His primary role is to develop strategy and ensure the values and mission of The Everett Clinic are appropriately supported by its people, systems and culture. Prior to this role, David served as executive director/CEO of The Polyclinic for 26 years.
VP of Human Capital, Optum
Jen Dobovsky is the Vice President of Human Capital for the Pacific Northwest and Colorado. She joined Optum in July 2010 as a Human Capital Partner and has touched many parts of the business. Jen leads Optum360 Human Capital, Optum Behavioral and Population Health. In addition, she has supported various business teams and enjoys working on new endeavors. Prior to Optum, Jen began her career in early childhood special education and transitioned to business with roles at Best Buy in Learning and Development and as a Human Resources generalist. She has been in her current role in May 2020.
Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Optum Pacific Northwest
As CFO, Brian Fellner will lead all finance functions for Optum Pacific Northwest, including planning and analysis, forecasting, capital planning, and accounting and will also serve as executive vice president for our Oregon market. Fellner joins Optum Pacific Northwest from Sutter Health Plus (SHP) where he served as President and CEO. He has nearly 30 years of health care experience, including serving as CFO at two Blue Cross health plans, senior vice president and chief of staff at American Enterprise Group, and vice president at Great-West Financial.
Sr. Director Growth & Network Operations
David is responsible for managing physician engagement, growth operations, and innovation for population health for Optum Care Network. David completed his health care MBA at Vanderbilt University and a bachelor’s degree in Biology at UCLA.
Chief Operations Officer
As COO of OCN, William Krenz leads the is the day-to-day services we provide our network. He is responsible for all OCN operations, overseeing both our local market and partnering with our Optum national teams to ensure claims, referrals/prior authorizations, and other customer services are provided at market-leading service levels. William has been at Optum since 2010 in various operations leadership roles, except for a two-year break to lead operations at Blue Shield of California.

Vice President of Care Management
As Vice President of Care Management, Shari Peterson leads all operational activities of our care management teams to support our regional efforts to improve patient outcomes and ensure our care models are sustainable. Shari most recently served as the Regional Director of Population Health for OCN-predecessor NPN and The Everett Clinic. Shari joined NPN in 2003 after working 21 years in health care as a practicing nurse. Shari has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington.
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Julie Stroud is passionate about developing and maintaining relationships with clinicians and helping patients more easily and effectively manage their health. In her role as CMO, she leads our clinical and quality activities. Dr. Stroud is a board-certified family physician and has spent the last three years as OCN-predecessor NPN’s Executive Medical Director for Quality & Clinical Services. Prior to joining NPN, she served at MultiCare Medical Associates (MMA) in multiple capacities, including Medical Director for Urgent Care, Urgent Care Physician and Family Physician. Dr. Stroud has a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University and earned her medical degree from Kigezi International School of Medicine.
